PDMS = Low Molecular Weight Cyclic Siloxanes

Low molecular weight SILOXANES permeate every internal organ, cross the placenta and can impact on a developing embryo. There are no safe levels of exposure for developing embryos and developmental harm may not be evident until puberty. Large numbers of women exposed to PIP breast implants continue to suffer the effects of exposure to these chemicals. Women globally continue to suffer, because regulatory policy and practises that put the profits of industry stakeholders before health and life. The symptoms of silicone poisoning are referred to as BREAST IMPLANT ILLNESS or BII. Some women will begin experiencing symptoms of BII poisoning immediately. Most Plastic Surgeons are familiar with the rash that appears across the chest and breasts immediately after implantation, this is common, particularly in implants with a polyurethane foam coating.

All women will experience an immune response to the silicone in implants : this is a FOREIGN BODY REACTION taking place dangerously close to all major organs. Maintained at body temperature, the low molecular weight siloxanes begin to degrade and escape through the shell/envelope of the implant, within hours the first PDMS molecules have entered the blood stream. Silicone molecules are being delivered to every major organ and nervous tissue with every heart beat.
